Amendment No. 1 to legal services agreement with the Law Office of Todd Simonson <br />and Amendment No. 1 to legal services agreement with HankinsLaw for workplace <br />investigation services (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Attorney to execute 1) Amendment No. 1 to <br />the legal services agreement with the Law Office of Todd Simonson for workplace <br />investigation services to increase the not-to-exceed amount by $420,000 and extending <br />the term by one year, for a total contract period of December 16, 2023 to December 15, <br />2027 and a total contract amount of $526,000; and 2) Amendment No. 1 to legal services <br />agreement with HankinsLaw for workplace investigation services to increase the not-to- <br />exceed amount by $150,000 and extending the term for one year, for a total contract <br />period of January 20, 2024 to January 19, 2028 and a total contract amount of $256,000. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.E. Amendments to Agreements for Services with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (AECOM) <br />and William R. Gray and Company DBA Gray-Bowen-Scott (GBS) for the 101/84 <br />Interchange Reconstruction Project (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve and authorize City Manager to execute Amendment No. 7 to the <br />Agreement for Services with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (AECOM) to provide <br />additional services for an amount not to exceed $3,680,000, for a total contract amount <br />of $13,115,248, until the services are complete, estimated through 2026; and <br />2. By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to <br />the Agreement for Services with William R. Gray and Company DBA Gray-Bowen-Scott <br />(GBS) for an amount not to exceed $358,217 for project delivery services, for a total not <br />to exceed contract amount of $4,002,513, through December 2025. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). California <br />Department of Transportation is the lead agency for the construction project proposed <br />for the 101/84 Interchange Improvement Project, and prepared a Negative Declaration <br />for the project, which was approved on December 14, 2016. <br /> <br /> 7.F. Award of contract for the Redwood Creek channel improvement near 1891 Palm <br />Avenue with project funding from the Capital Projects Fund (General Fund) (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the standard form <br />construction contract documents and award a contract for the Redwood Creek channel
