__________________________________________________________________________________________ <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD/ June 24, 2024 <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES PAGE 5 <br /> <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 69 <br />improvement near 1891 Palm Avenue to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, <br />B&D Excavation and Construction of Santa Rosa, California for their low bid of $1,109,900 <br />and authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to increase the contract amount, if <br />necessary, up to 10 percent of the original contract amount, for a not to exceed total in <br />the amount of $1,220,890. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 2. Replacement or reconstruction <br /> <br /> 7.G. Resolution calling the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election for the election of <br />four municipal officers (City Councilmembers) in Council districts 1, 3, 4, and 7; <br />resolution requesting the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors consolidate said <br />election with the November 5, 2024 Statewide General Election and authorize the City <br />Clerk to execute a services agreement with the County Elections Official to provide <br />election services; and resolution adopting regulations for candidates for elective office <br />pertaining to candidate statements submitted to the voters <br /> (307/304) Reso 16220/16221/16222 <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution calling for the holding of a General Municipal Election to be held <br />on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the election of four municipal officers for seats in <br />Council Districts 1, 3, 4, and 7 to the voters who reside in those Districts as required by <br />the City’s Charter and the laws of the State of California; <br />2. Adopt a resolution requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to <br />consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, with <br />the Statewide General Election; and requesting the County to render specified services <br />to the City; and authorizing the City Clerk to execute a contract with the County for such <br />services; and <br />3. Adopt a resolution adopting regulations for candidates for elective office pertaining to <br />candidate statements submitted to the voters at an election to be held on Tuesday, <br />November 5, 2024. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.H. Approve the Third Amended and Restated Agreement between the Cities of Redwood <br />City and San Carlos for Fire and Emergency Services (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Third Amended and <br />Restated Agreement between the Cities of Redwood City and San Carlos for Fire and <br />Emergency Services and any related agreements, and authorize the City Manager to <br />negotiate and execute an annual updated Exhibit C to the Third Amended and Restated
