Award of contract for the Hoover Park Restroom Building as part of the Hoover Park <br />Renovation Project funded by federal grants, the General Fund and park impact fees <br /> (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the standard form <br />construction contract documents and award a contract for the Hoover Park Restroom <br />Building to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, Sean Khan Consulting <br />Company Inc. (dba) SKC Company of Chino Hills, CA, for their low bid of $857,947; and <br />authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to increase the contract amount, if <br />necessary, up to 10 percent of the original contract amount, for a not to exceed total in <br />the amount of $943,742. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined <br />in CEQA Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a <br />direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. The future <br />Hoover Park renovation will undergo CEQA review at the time that the contract is ready <br />to be approved. <br /> <br /> 7.J. Arts Commission FY 2024-2025 funding recommendations for large grant recipients <br /> (209) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve the Arts Commission’s proposed funding recommendations for large <br />grant recipients for FY 2024-2025 as provided in Attachment A. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.K. Authorization to submit grant application for the Peninsula Clean Energy Member <br />Agency Energy Grant Program and execute all grant documents to secure grant funds <br />and implement the grant project (304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the submission of a grant application for the Peninsula <br />Clean Energy Member Agency Energy Grant Program to Peninsula Clean Energy and <br />authorize the City Manager or their designee to execute all grant documents necessary <br />to secure grant funds up to $1,265,866 and implement the approved grant project. <br />
