ATTY/RESO.0051/HRAC RESO 1100 EL CAMINO REAL <br />REV: 06-05-023 JB <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />more compatible with the existing structure and included several other recommendations <br />to enhance the design; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff revised the revised project plans incorporating the <br />recommendations from the Compatibility Evaluation and believes that the proposed <br />Project’s revised plans comply with all preservation methods identified in the DTPP and <br />the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 26, 2023, a public hearing notice was published in the San <br />Mateo Daily Journal and mailed to interested parties and all property owners within 300 <br />feet of the Property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 8, 2023, the HRAC held a duly noticed public hearing, in <br />accordance with all applicable requirements of State Law, to consider Downtown Planned <br />Community Permit application No. DPC2022-001 and SP2023-018 and supporting <br />materials. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The HRAC, having independently heard, considered, and weighed all <br />the evidence in the record, finds that the above recitals are accurate and constitute <br />findings in this matter and, together with the staff report and the application materials, <br />including without limitation the CEQA determination, development plans, and all other <br />documents, reports, studies, memoranda, maps, oral and written testimony, and materials <br />in the City’s file for the applications and the Project, and all adopted City planning <br />documents relating to the Project and the property including the City’s General Plan, <br />Zoning Ordinance, Municipal Code, Downtown Precise Plan, and the Secretary of the <br />Interior’s Standards, other applicable City laws and regulations, and all associated <br />approved and certified environmental documents, have together served as an adequate <br />and appropriate evidentiary basis for the findings and actions set forth in this Resolution. <br />Section 2. Under Section 2.0.3.A.3 of the DTPP, the HRAC has reviewed the <br />Project for conformance with the applicable Historic Resource Preservation Regulations <br />of the DTPP, and hereby finds that the Project is in conformance with the applicable <br />Standards and Guidelines. <br /> <br />Section 3. The HRAC hereby recommends that the Planning Commission approve <br />the Downtown Community Permit No. DPC2022-001 and Sign Permit No. SP2023-018 <br />for the Project consistent with the Downtown Precise Plan - Historic Resource <br />Preservation Regulations. <br /> <br />Section 4.
