Field screening that would be performed during excavation to identify and separate impacted and non-impacted soil c. Sampling procedures and analytical protocols used to characterize soil in order to select the proper disposal locations d. Anticipated disposal locations and transportation routes from the project site to the disposal locations e. Procedures used to dewater, contain, sample, test, and dispose of any groundwater encountered during excavation f. Storm water runoff control g. Dust control h. Air quality monitoring i. Any additional provisions requested by the GPP as part of its jurisdictional authority <br />69. Grading – Grading shall be performed in accordance with Volume III, Part II of the City’s Engineering Standards. Soil or other construction materials shall not be stockpiled in the public right-of-way. The applicant shall submit cut/fill volumes (CY) for all soils to be imported to or exported from the site. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br />70. Monitoring – The Soils Engineer shall conduct continuous site inspections during trenching and backfill operations at the applicant’s expense. The Soils Engineer shall take compaction tests and submit the results to Engineering & Construction. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br />71. Public Parking During Construction – Temporary parking meter permits shall be issued prior to removing any public parking spaces from public use during construction. An application fee of $30.00, together with the parking meter fees applicable for the expected duration of the temporary parking meter permit ($2.00-$8.00 daily per space depending on location) shall be paid in advance prior to issuance of the permit. Construction Coordination – The applicant shall coordinate the proposed design with other developments in the area, especially at conform locations, in order to provide a consistent design for the overall area. The applicant shall coordinate construction sequencing to the maximum extent practicable to provide for smooth transitions between adjacent projects during all phases of construction, to reduce impacts to public access (vehicular and pedestrian) during construction, and to avoid reconstruction of recently constructed improvements. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br />a. The construction activities shall not impact adjoining properties, including ingress egress operations, without providing adequate planning for fire protection and life safety. All planning efforts shall be agreed to by the adjoining property owners and approved by the fire and building departments.
