No modification of the project, any application, permit, certification, condition, environmental determination, other approval, change in applicable laws and regulations, or change in processing methods shall alter the applicant’s indemnity obligation. Per Government Code Section 66474.9, Applicant’s indemnification obligation with respect to any claim, action or proceeding to attack, set aside, void, or annul an approval of City concerning a subdivision (tentative, parcel, or final map application or approval) shall be limited to actions brought within the time period provided for in Government Code Section 66499.37, unless such time period is extended for any reason. Date Effective – No building or zoning permit shall be issued, and no use shall be established except in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions outlined above, and in no case shall such permit be issued or use established prior to the final action on the appeal. Additionally, a receipt and/or letter documenting payment to each organization shall be submitted to Building Services prior to issuance of a Building Permit. 106. Affordable Housing I – Applicant shall pay $100,000 to the City for the City’s Affordable Housing fund. [COA][PLANNING] 107. Affordable Housing II – Applicant shall pay $275,000 to Saint Vincent De Paul to provide for emergency services/financing/housing to community members facing displacement and/or homelessness due to rising housing costs. This will be accomplished through a donation to a non-profit which currently performs such services. The funds must be used to help Redwood City residents. [COA][PLANNING] 108. Youth/Education – Applicant shall pay $15,000 to Aim High to support summer educational programs at Roosevelt School for underprivileged children. [COA][PLANNING] 109. Youth/Education – Applicant shall pay $15,000 to Reading Partners to support educational programs aimed at supporting reading programs in under-resourced schools. This contribution will be specifically earmarked for Redwood City Schools. [COA][PLANNING] 110. Youth/Education – Applicant shall pay $15,000 to support summer and/or afterschool activities for high-risk children in Redwood City. [COA][PLANNING] 111. Quality of Life I – Arts – Applicant shall pay $15,000 to fund the planning, implementation and management of art programs in the Downtown area. [COA][PLANNING]
