Streetlights - A new streetlight shall be installed, if needed, as determined by the City <br />Engineer. Streetlights are required on the construction of a new commercial building or <br />performance of substantial commercial remodeling with street frontage of 200 feet or <br />more. The style and location of all streetlights shall be as determined by the City Engineer <br />and Planning Manager. [SDR][ENGINEERING] 49. Green Infrastructure Improvements - Bio-retention areas shall be included in the project <br />frontage along Blomquist Street sized to treat the full-street tributary area of the project <br />frontage between Seaport Blvd and railroad crossing towards Maple Avenue. Bio-retention <br />areas shall also be provided on Old Seaport Blvd, sized to treat full-width of Old Seaport <br />Blvd and the equivalent treatment area as shown on the project’s Vesting Tentative Map, <br />approved on November 14, 2022. [SDR][ENGINEERING] 50. Repair or Replace Street Infrastructure – The applicant shall restore streets surrounding <br />the project site to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at project completion. When this <br />requires additional pavement restoration, the Engineer shall approve the preferred layout <br />of pavement markings. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> 51. Reconstruction of Frontage Streets - The applicant shall reconstruct the street along <br />Blomquist Street and Old Seaport Boulevard streets fronting the project site. <br />[SDR][ENGINEERING] 52. Pedestrian and Bicycle Facility Improvements – The applicant shall design and construct <br />the following pedestrian/bicycle enhancements to completed with the project to the <br />satisfaction of the City: [COA][ENGINEERING] a. Provide enhanced marked crossings and pathways for pedestrian and bicycle access <br />to existing Class I multi-use pathways. These include connections to the existing Bay <br />Trail segment to the east of Seaport Boulevard and the proposed Class I multi-use <br />pathway under US 101 connecting to Chestnut Street. b. Extend the sidewalk on the south side of Blomquist Street across the railroad spur <br />tracks toward Maple Street. c. Provide safety measures for pedestrians crossing the active railroads to the east and <br />west of the Project site. d. Provide enhanced marked crossings for pedestrian and bicycle crossings at Project <br />driveways. e. Provide a Class 1 path along Old Seaport Boulevard between Stein Am Rhein Court <br />and the intersection of Seaport Boulevard and Lyngso Lane. <br />
