Bicycle Parking – Provide for 180 bicycle storage spaces (160 long-term, 20 short-term) <br />for residential uses and 48 bicycle storage spaces (24 long-term, 24 short term) for commercial <br />uses and demonstrate this on the building permit plans. Clean Air Vehicle Parking- The Villasport shall provide 48 designated parking for any <br />combination of clean air, low-emitting, fuel-efficient and carpool/vanpool vehicles. [COA] <br />[ENGINEERING] <br /> <br />31. Electric Vehicle Charging Stations – Villasport shall provide 29 Level 2 EV equipped and <br />24 Level 1 EV ready parking spaces. The residential portion of the project shall provide EV parking <br />spaces per City’s code as follows: 126 Level 2 EV ready parking spaces for market rate and 11 <br />Level 2 EV ready parking spaces for affordable units. Also, the remaining parking spaces at the <br />residential buildings shall be Level 1 EV ready equal to 379 Level 1 EV ready for market rate and <br />98 Level 1 EV ready for affordable units. <br /> <br />Provide the appropriate number of accessible EVCS with at least one van accessible, including <br />considerations for signage and time limits. Demonstrate this on the building permit plans. <br />[COA][ENGINEERING] <br /> <br />32. San Carlos Airport - The Applicant shall provide all residential tenants with a real estate <br />disclosure acknowledging the project’s proximity to the San Carlos Airport and provide <br />documentation to the City to confirm the final project design remains consistent with the <br />requirements of the San Carlos Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan. The language in the real <br />estate disclosure shall be subject to the review of the San Carlos Airport Manager. Should the <br />Applicant and San Carlos Airport agree to an avigation easement, it shall be the Applicant’s <br />responsibility to provide the City with a copy of said agreement. <br /> <br />33. Community Benefits – The project includes community benefits offered by the applicant <br />as part of the Project as described below: <br /> <br />a. Child Care Facility serving a minimum of 30 children within the Villasport <br />commercial building and offering day camp spaces to non-members of the facility. <br />b. Publicly Visible Art shall be installed at various publicly accessible locations along <br />pedestrian pathways. <br />c. Active Recreation Area of approximately 75,000 s.f. of open space which includes <br />41,000 s.f. of recreational public open space along the shoreline, including 9,500 square <br />feet of an improved path that will connect to and become a part of the Bay Trail as <br />neighboring development occurs and facilitates the connection to existing segments <br />of the Bay Trail. An additional 34,000 sf. of publicly accessible residential open <br />space includes picnic tables, seating area and ne landscaping. <br />d. Public Access to the Shoreline that includes a new 26-foot public access easement <br />through the site from East Bayshore Road to the shoreline. In addition, seven <br />parking spaces will be dedicated for public use of the Bay Trail.
