Hopper, Principal of the firm, RKH Civil and Transportation Engineering, is a duly <br />licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California (# 18928), a duly licensed Traffic Engineer in <br />the State of California (#1425), and a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (#200) as <br />licensed by the Transportation Professional Certification Board, Inc., Washington, D.C. This <br />Notice of Licensure is provide in accordance with 9463.5, Title 16, CCR. <br /> <br />In accordance with 96749 of the State of California Business and Professions Code RKH <br />herewith presents this proposal to provide traffic engineering services for the work described <br />below. Signing, dating, and returning a copy of the Offer/Acceptance page to RKH constitutes a <br />binding contract, the provisions of which are included in" the Attachment to this proposal. <br /> <br />PROJECT DEFINITION: The City of Redwood City is reviewing an application for a new <br />grocery store to be located in an existing building at 150 Charter Street. The city [CLIENT] is <br />requesting a focused traffic analysis of the proposed store. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />Task 1 - Traffic Data Collection. <br /> <br />A. At the existing Mi Rancho Market, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, collect driveway traffic <br />counts during the weekday PM street peak hours, 4-6 PM <br /> <br />Pedestrians as well as bicycles in and out of the site will be included in the count. <br /> <br />Before beginning the count period the number of vehicles parked in the front parking <br />lot of the store and on the side and rear of the store will be counted so that the traffic <br />counts can then be used to determine peak parking occupancy. <br /> <br />837 Columba Lane · Foster City, CA 94404.
