Intersection traffic count at the intersection of EI Camino Real & Charter Street <br />Pedestrians and bicycles will be included in the intersection counts. <br /> <br />2. 24-hr. directional machine counts including speed: <br />a. Charter Street between EI Camino Real and Hancock Street <br />b. Hancock Street between Charter Street and Willow Street <br />c. Willow Street between Hancock Street and Shasta Street <br /> <br />NOTE: Traffic data collection will depend on availability of good weather conditions. <br />Traffic data will not be collected between November 23 and November 30,2009, and <br />between December 21, 2009, and January 4, 20 I 0 because of the holidays. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Draft Report <br /> <br />A. Existing Conditions <br /> <br />RKH will creat a traffic model of the study area streets and intersection using the TRAFFIX <br />program.) Levels of service (LOS) during the peak hour as listed in Task I.A. will be <br />calculated for the designated study area intersection following the procedures in the <br />Highway Capacity Manua1.2 A queue analysis will also be made for the controlled <br />movements at the intersection. <br /> <br />B. Project Conditions <br /> <br />1. Project Trip Generation. Using the data collected in Task I.A.
