City of Redwood City <br />Grant Agreement #SPPD24100 <br />Exhibit B <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT B <br />BUDGET DETAIL AND PAYMENT PROVISIONS <br /> <br />1. Invoicing and Payment <br /> <br />A. The total amount of this Agreement is not to exceed $200,000.00 [Two Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars and No Cents]. <br /> <br />B. Upon receipt and approval of invoices, GO-LUCI agrees to provide advance payment <br />of grant funds to the Fiscal Sponsor to manage on behalf of the Grantee. <br /> <br />C. Invoices shall be submitted electronically only via email directly to: <br /> <br />AccountsPayable@GO-LUCI.ca.gov <br /> <br />D. Invoices shall include the agreement number in the subject line. <br /> <br />E. Invoices shall include details of the items that are to be funded with these funds. <br /> <br />F. Invoices must be submitted no later than March 1, 2027. Invoices submitted beyond <br />March 1, 2027, may not be processed. <br /> <br />2. Advance Payment <br /> <br />A. Per the California Budget Act of 2023, Assembly Bill 102, Chapter 38, section 19.567, <br />Item (a)(5) advance payment is allowed. <br /> <br />B. Notwithstanding any other law, a designated state entity administering an allocation <br />pursuant to this section may provide the allocation as an advance lump sum payment, <br />and the allocation may be used to pay for costs incurred prior to the effective date of <br />the act adding this paragraph. <br /> <br />3. Budget Contingency Clause <br /> <br />A. It is mutually agreed that if the Budget Act of the current year and/or any subsequent <br />years covered under this Agreement does not apprGO-LUCIiate sufficient funds for the <br />program, this Agreement shall be of no further force and effect. In this event, GO-LUCI <br />shall have no liability to pay any funds whatsoever to the Fiscal Sponsor and the <br />Grantee or to furnish any other considerations under this Agreement and the Fiscal <br />Sponsor and Grantee shall not be obligated to fulfill any provisions of this Agreement. <br /> <br />B. If funding for any fiscal year is reduced or deleted by the State’s Budget Act for purposes <br />of this program, GO-LUCI shall have the option to either cancel this Agreement with no <br />liability occurring to GO-LUCI or State or offer an agreement amendment to the Fiscal <br />Sponsor to reflect the reduced amount. <br /> <br />
