REV: 12-21-2020 PR <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Contractor shall perform the following work on Three Locations: <br /> Brewster Avenue at Elwood Street <br /> Upton Street at Euclid Avenue <br /> Massachusetts Avenue at Kentucky Street <br /> <br />1. Furnish and install six (6) double sided solar powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing <br />Beacon (RRFB) assemblies according to the specification and detail below. <br /> <br />Item Unit Estimated Quantity Unit Price Item Cost <br />Install RRFB Assemblies EA 6 TBD TBD <br /> <br />Payment for Install RRFB Assemblies shall be made on a per each (EA) basis as <br />specified in the Bid Schedule and these Special Provisions, which will include full <br />compensation for performing the scope of work as specified in Section 16 5000 “Signals, <br />Lighting and Electrical Systems” of these Technical Specifications. <br /> <br />The contract unit price shall include all labor, equipment, materials to install signs and <br />posts and all incidentals involved in installing signs and posts. Excavation, footing, sign <br />post and mounting hardware, placement, and new foundation shall be included in the <br />per each cost for signing. <br /> <br />SPECIFICATION FOR RECTANGULAR RAPID FLASHING BEACON ASSEMBLY <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 WORK INCLUDED <br />A. Installation of Solar-powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) <br />Assemblies, including but not limited to pole and foundation, pedestrian signage, <br />accessible pedestrian signal assembly, solar panel, and controller and enclosure, <br />at the locations below: <br /> Brewster Avenue at Elwood Street <br /> Upton Street at Euclid Avenue <br /> Massachusetts Avenue at Kentucky Street <br />B. Supplying all labor, materials, equipment, and apparatus not specifically <br />mentioned herein or noted on the plans, but which are incidental and necessary <br />to complete the Work specified. <br />C. Attachment 1 (Signals, Lighting and Electrical Systems) and Attachment 2 <br />(Notice to Proceed) are attached hereto and incorporated by reference.
