All amounts have been included in the FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget;
no additional appropriations are being requested at this time.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA
Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably
foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72
hours prior to the meeting.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council could decide not to approve these purchases. The City would still be required to make
the payments to the vendors, due to the underlying agreements, statutory requirements, and/or
services rendered. These payments would then need to be individually approved by City Council action
for each payment made over the Purchasing Limits set forth in Redwood City’s Ordinance 2481. This
would require monthly staff reports and additional administrative staff resources instead of the single
action proposed herein.
ATTACHMENTS
None.
6.A. - Page 3 of 4
13
