Page 4 of 10 <br />Replacement Project - Cambridge and Emerald Hills to Casey Construction, Inc. of <br />Emerald Hills for their responsive and responsible low total bid of $3,788,461 <br />from the Water Capital Projects Fund, waive certain minor bid irregularities as set <br />forth in the staff report, and authorize the City Manager or their designee to <br />increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the amount awarded, <br />for a total amount not to exceed $4,167,307. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 2. Replacement or reconstruction <br />6.G.Approval of change order for contract with B&D Excavation and Construction <br />for the Redwood Creek Channel Improvement Near 1891 Palm Avenue; funding <br />from Capital Outlay Fund <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute change order to <br />the contract with B&D Excavation and Construction of Santa Rosa, California for <br />an additional $331,500, thereby increasing the contract amount to a total of <br />$1,441,400, and authorize the City Manager, or their designee, to increase the <br />contract amount, if necessary, up to 10 percent of the new contract amount, for <br />a not to exceed total in the amount of $1,585,540. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 2. Replacement or reconstruction <br />6.H.Grant application and projects approval for San Mateo County Transportation <br />Authority’s Measure A/W Pedestrian and Bicycle Program, Vera Avenue <br />Permanent Bicycle Boulevard Project and James Avenue/El Camino Real <br />Intersection Improvement Project <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution supporting the Vera Avenue Permanent Bicycle Boulevard <br />Project and James Avenue/El Camino Real Intersection Improvement Project and <br />Authorizing the Submittal of Two Applications to the San Mateo County <br />Transportation Authority for Measure A/W Pedestrian and Bicycle Program <br />Funding; and <br />2. By motion, authorize the City Manager to execute related grant documents. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1.
