The titles and headings of the articles, <br />paragraphs and sections of this Regulatory Agreement are for convenience and reference only and <br />are not to be considered a part of this Regulatory Agreement and shall not in any way interpret, <br />modify or restrict the meaning of any term, provision, covenant, condition, restriction, reservation <br />or agreement contained in this Regulatory Agreement. <br />6.12 Notices. <br />6.12.1 Any and all Notices sent by either Party to the other Party pursuant to <br />or as required by this Regulatory Agreement shall be proper, if in writing and transmitted to the <br />principal office of the City or the Owner, as applicable, as designated in Section 6.12.2, by one or <br />more of the following methods: (i) messenger for immediate personal delivery, (ii) a nationally <br />recognized overnight delivery service (i.e., Federal Express, United Parcel Service, etc.) or (iii) <br />registered or certified United States mail, postage prepaid, return receipt requested. Such Notices <br />may be sent in the same manner to such other addresses as either Party may from time to time <br />designate by Notice, in accordance with this Section 6.12. Any such Notice shall be deemed to be <br />received by the addressee, regardless of whether or when any return receipt is received by the <br />sender or the date set forth on such return receipt, on the day that it is delivered by personal <br />delivery, on the date of delivery by a nationally recognized overnight courier service or three (3) <br />calendar days after it is placed in the United States mail, as provided in this Section 6.12. <br />Rejection, other refusal to accept or the inability to deliver a Notice because of a changed address <br />of which no notice was given, shall be deemed receipt of the Notice. <br />6.12.2 The following are the authorized addresses for the submission of <br />Notices to the Parties: <br />If to the City: City of Redwood City <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Attn: City Manager <br /> <br />With a copy to: City of Redwood City <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA <br />Attn: City Attorney <br /> <br />If to the Owner: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />With a copy to: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6.M. - Page 99 of 110 <br />555
