By motion, determine that due to the nature of the services, a competitive <br />bidding process is not likely to serve the best interests of the City and the contract <br />may be awarded without a competitive bidding process, and approve and <br />authorize the City Manager to execute the Live Performance Agreement between <br />the City of Redwood City and Zoppé Circus in an amount not to exceed $280,000 <br />(requires 5/7 vote); and <br />2. Adopt a resolution of the City Council of the City of Redwood City establishing <br />a temporary one-hour time limit on the use of parking spaces in Library Lots A, B, <br />and C. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.Q.Award Fair Oaks Community Center Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) Kitchen <br />Remodel Project to Onpoint Construction in the amount of $303,125; and <br />authorize the City Manager or their designee to increase the contract amount, <br />if necessary, up to 10% of the amount awarded in an amount not to exceed <br />$30,312 for a total amount of $333,437 <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract <br />documents and award the standard form contract for the Fair Oaks Community <br />Center MPR Kitchen Remodel Project to Onpoint Construction of Burlingame, CA <br />for their responsive and responsible low total bid of $303,125; and authorize the <br />City Manager or their designee to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up <br />to 10% of the amount awarded in an amount not to exceed $30,312 for a total <br />amount of $333,437. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1.
