By submitting a larger list of corridors, the City will have <br />the most flexibility in deciding which projects will proceed based on the available resources. As the FY <br />2024-25 project(s) are further designed, there will be minor changes to the street list to reflect field <br />assessments, coordination with utility and development projects, and grant funding strategies. The final <br />street list will be reflected in the construction contract that will be brought to the City Council for award <br />in 2025. <br />At this time, the streets on the project list may receive spot repairs, a pavement overlay, slurry seal or <br />micro surfacing (a protective seal coat) treatment, depending on their condition and their roadway <br />classification. Overlays typically are used on collector and arterial streets while slurry seals or <br />microsurfacing are used on residential streets. To the extent possible, staff will strive to complete surface <br />treatments in addition to spot repairs to address community concerns about driving experience. Staff <br />anticipates that the next SB1 funded pavement project would be put out to bid in early 2025, and the City <br />8.B. - Page 5 of 12 <br />888
