City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org
Council would consider the award of contract in summer 2025. Work on this project would begin in late
summer 2025.
EQUITY IMPACT STATEMENT
Based on the street list presented, 14 of the 56 streets, or 25% of the streets identified, are primarily
located within an Equity Priority Community (EPC). From a mileage basis, 28% of the street segments are
located in an EPC. Based on previous analyses, roughly 25% of the city’s street mileage is located within
an EPC, so project benefits should reflect or exceed the citywide distribution of streets in EPCs. A project-
specific equity analysis that reflects the final street list will be included in the staff report for the award of
the construction contract(s) in 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no direct fiscal impact associated with adopting a resolution identifying the 2024-25 Pavement
Management Program. However, the estimated $2.16M in RMRA revenues and project expenditures are
being appropriated as part of the FY 2024-25 Capital Improvement Program budget. These funds would
supplement the City’s current funding sources for road maintenance and rehabilitation. Approval of the
recommended action would have no impact on the General Fund.
8.B. - Page 6 of 12
889
