City Council appointments to the Housing and Human Concerns Committee and Police <br />Advisory Committee (209) <br /> <br />City Clerk Yessika Castro gave an overview of the item. <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By roll call vote, appoint one full-term seat on the Housing and Human Concerns <br />Committee (HHCC) expiring May 31, 2028 from the list of eligible applicants established <br />during the spring 2024 recruitment; and <br />2. Council Member Martinez Saballos to reappoint Max Discher to the Police Advisory <br />Committee (PAC) for the remainder of the partial term expiring May 31, 2025, a seat <br />which he previously held as a result of direct appointment by Council Member Martinez <br />Saballos in June 2023. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />By roll call vote, the following member was appointed to the Housing and Human <br />Concerns Committee for one full-term seat expiring May 31, 2028: <br />• Clinton Cheng (Aguirre, Eakin, Howard, Gee) <br /> <br />Council Member Martinez Saballos reappointed Max Discher to the Police Advisory <br />Committee (PAC) for the remainder of the partial term expiring May 31, 2025. <br /> <br />8.
