REV: 08-13-24 LF <br />by the Contractor on the City site. A copy of the report shall be kept on file by the <br />Contractor for a minimum of three <br />(3) years from the date of submission. <br />Hazardous Waste Disposal: All hazardous materials shall be disposed by the Contractor <br />in accordance with current Federal, State, Local and Municipal guidelines governing <br />regulated hazardous wastes: <br />Contractor shall dispose of hazardous wastes in a manner that leaves no future <br />expense potential to the City, including recycling, incineration, fuels blending, <br />waste-to-energy incineration, and landfill. <br />Acceptance of the hazardous waste at a properly permitted treatment, storage, or <br />disposal facility or facilities (TSDFs) does not constitute disposal and/or completion <br />of the Agreement. It is the Contractor’s prime responsibility to obtain all necessary <br />documentation to prove that the timely end disposal of all items has been <br />accomplished including certificates of recycling and final disposal certificates. Any <br />TSDF must operate under Federal and State licenses/permits and be capable of <br />handling hazardous wastes, including California regulated wastes, Resource <br />Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Federal regulated wastes, and liquid/solid <br />waste under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). <br />The Contractor shall manifest all hazardous waste lawfully and efficiently to the <br />satisfaction of the Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC) California <br />Department of Transportation (CA DOT), United States Department of <br />Transportation (US DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and EPA <br />permitted disposal facilities. All waste shall be transported under manifest using <br />the Contractors unique EPA transporter identification number. The Contractor shall <br />provide a copy with original signatures of all manifests and/or bills of lading to the <br />Public Works Wastewater Superintendent or their designee prior to transporting <br />hazardous waste from the City site. The Contractor shall provide transportation of <br />hazardous waste to a TSDF by a licensed and permitted hazardous waste <br />transporter. Contractor to provide copies of licenses and permits for the licensed <br />transporter. <br />Fee Schedule: <br />City shall pay Contractor for services based on the item prices and labor rates in the fee <br />schedule outlined below and, in an amount, not-to-exceed Eighty Thousand dollars <br />($80,000) for hazardous hauling and disposal.
