<br />61 <br /> <br />the CalPERS board to reflect any change to the medical care <br />component of the Consumer Price Index. <br /> <br />19.1.3 The health benefit plans offered shall be those of CalPERS provided <br />however, upon the request of the City or Association, the parties will <br />re-open this Article 19.1. to meet and confer on modifying 19.1. to <br />provide a different group health plan. It is understood that any <br />change from the group health plans offered by CalPERS will only be <br />made by mutual agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br />the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2400. <br /> <br />19.1.4 All costs incurred by the City to maintain the Group Health Benefits <br />Plan in compliance with Government Code Section 22751, et seq., <br />and all costs incurred by the City to maintain the Cafeteria Plan in <br />compliance with IRS Code Section 125, shall be paid from the <br />aforementioned monthly dollar caps identified in Sections 19.1.4, <br />19.1.5, and 19.1.6. Such costs include, but are not limited to, <br />premiums, surcharges, and/or administrative fees. <br /> <br />19.1.5 In the event there are any costs not charged to the City due to delays <br />by the Group Health Plan Administrator and/or other administrative <br />agencies in calculating or reporting these costs, said costs shall be <br />carried over and charged as administrative costs to the following <br />plan year and deducted from the aforementioned monthly dollar <br />caps accordingly. <br /> <br />19.1.6 Cafeteria Plan: <br /> <br /> The City shall maintain in accordance with Section 125 of the IRS <br />Code a Cafeteria Plan for the purpose of providing employees with <br />access to various health and welfare benefits. Benefits available <br />through the Cafeteria Plan include, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />A. Group Health Plan Medical Premiums <br />B. Flexible Spending Account for Dependent Care <br />C. Flexible Spending Account for Health Care Reimbursement <br /> <br />19.1.7 City Contribution: The City’s contribution to the Cafeteria Plan for <br />full time employees will be: <br /> <br />A. A maximum of ninety percent (90%) of actual cost of medical <br />coverage, up to a maximum of ninety percent (90%) of the Bay <br />Area Kaiser family rate. <br /> <br />6.A. - Page 72 of 99 <br />79
