Recommendation: Information only — no action required. Receive update on Redevelopment Agency's budget and the potential impacts of pending State takeaway. (404) Jeannie Young, Redevelopment Project Manager, presented an update on the Redevelopment Fund (presentation on file). She announced the $4.3 million dollar possible state takeaway and what staff's recommendations are. City Attorney Yamamoto provided legal information on the course of action. Ms. Young shared upcoming deadlines on the payment as well as the different approaches. She explained that staff recommends scenario #4. She mentioned that the Redevelopment Agency five-year plan is to come to Council on December 14, 2009. City Manager Ingram said a narrative of each project could be brought back especially the ones that are on the list to be de-obligated. The various options and scenarios were discussed by Council. There was broad consensus on the Redevelopment Agency Board to bring back alternatives two and three (formal action to be taken at a later time). RD Minute Order 09-15 8. Legislation (information only) - This sub-section involves possible discussion of City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities City Advocate Weekly Issue No. 39-2009.
