Adopt a Local Road Safety Plan where the proposed project is located; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City’s 2023-2031 Adopted Housing Element was certified by <br />California Department of Housing and Community Development in March 2023 and the <br />City adopted the Redwood City Walk Bike Thrive Plan in June 2022. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Project Applicant staff is directed to submit an application for MTC’s <br />RM3 SR2TBT Program for $2,000,000 for the selected Bay Trail gap closure project. <br /> <br />2. The Project Applicant commits to the completion of the granted phases of <br />the project, if awarded the requested MTC fund. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is authorized to take any other actions necessary to give <br />effect to this resolution. <br /> <br />4.
