ATTY/ORD.0010/CC ORD AMENDING MUNI CODE CH.18, 27A, 30 – EXHIBIT C <br />REV: 09-17-24 VR <br />Page 6 of 65 <br />SUBDIVISION MAP ACT (OR THE ACT): Division 2 (commencing with Section 66410) <br />of title 7 of the Government Code of the State of California and all amendments <br />thereto or replacements therefor. <br />TENTATIVE MAP: A map made for the purpose of showing the design and <br />improvement of a proposed subdivision of 5 or more parcels and the existing <br />conditions of the land to be subdivided. <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP: A map made for the purpose of showing the design and <br />improvement of a proposed subdivision of 4 or fewer parcels of land and the <br />existing conditions of the land to be subdivided. <br />VESTING TENTATIVE MAP: A tentative map or tentative parcel map which meets the <br />requirements of Section 30.26 of this Chapter. <br />Sec. 30.6. - INTERPRETATION: <br />The provisions of this Chapter shall be deemed minimum requirements, except where they <br />are expressly stated to be maximum requirements. The provisions of this Chapter are not <br />intended to impair or interfere with any private restrictions placed upon real property by <br />covenant or deed; provided, however, that where the provisions of this Chapter impose a <br />greater restriction upon the division of land than is imposed or required by such private <br />restrictions, the provisions of this Chapter shall control. <br />Sec. 30.7. - SEVERABILITY: <br />The articles, Sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this Chapter are <br />severable. If any provision of this title or the application of this Chapter to any person or <br />circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of this title or the application of a provision to <br />other persons or circumstances shall not be affected. <br /> <br />Article II – Administration <br />Sec. 30.8. – REVIEW AUTHORITY: <br />A. Table 30-1 establishes the Review Authority for subdivision maps and other <br />approvals required by this Chapter, subject to the additional provisions in <br />subsections B through D below. <br />
