REV: 08-21-24 MI EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Scope of Services Consultant shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to update the City’s existing SSMP to meet all requirements of the State Water Board Sanitary Sewer System General Waste Discharge Requirements Order (WDR Order No. 2022-0103-DWQ) by the City’s required deadlines. Task 1 – Document Review Consultant shall review the City’s existing documents and conduct an audit of the City’s existing SSMP. Task 2 – SSMP Audit and Gap Analysis •Consultant shall prepare and conduct a compliance evaluation inspection and identify best practice recommendations for improving SSMP effectiveness. •Per the State Water Board’s requirements, Consultant shall prepare a draft 2024 SSMP audit report and incorporate City staff feedback when preparing a final SSMP audit report. •Consultant shall provide the Final SSMP Audit to City staff before February 2025. Task 3 - SSMP Update •Per the State Water Board’s requirements, Consultant shall prepare a draft SSMP update for the City and incorporate City staff feedback when preparing a final SSMP update. •Consultant shall provide three (3) hard copies and a link to the: o Final 2024 SSMP audit report o Final 2025 SSMP update report •Consultant shall provide the final 2025 SSMP Update to City staff before May 2025. •Consultant shall provide in-person staff trainings on the final plan. Task 4 – Project Administration •Consultant shall be available to advise and present, if necessary, project findings at City Subcommittee and/or Council meetings. •Consultant shall hold monthly meetings with City staff to coordinate ongoing project efforts, provide project updates, and solicit recommendations. •Meetings will be held remotely unless City staff determine and requests an in- person meeting for completion of the specific task. •Consultant shall provide routine monthly invoices with detailed hours for each task and specific individuals that have conducted work. •Consultant shall provide project notes for all work tasks completed, decisions made, assumptions, pending decisions needing resolution, and include a summary of all submittals made to the City.
