REV: 10-09-24 MI <br />staff and the Utilities Sub-Committee. Following any final comments, Consultant shall <br />produce a Final Report in a PDF file format. The Final Report shall be finalized by the <br />Consultant prior to the mailing of the public hearing notice. The Capacity Fee Report <br />prepared under this task will be separate from the documents prepared under Task 6h <br />for the Water and Recycled Water Rate Study. <br />Implementation <br />Consultant shall revise (if necessary) the presentation made to the Utilities Sub- <br />Committee to present final findings and recommendations to the City Council. Consultant <br />shall attend the public hearing via video conference after the 45-day protest period to <br />answer questions. <br />Municipal Code Review <br />Consultant shall review and recommend changes to the appropriate chapter of the City’s <br />Municipal Code to reflect proposed capacity fee adjustments, as applicable. <br />Project Management <br />Consultant shall monitor schedules and budgets, conduct periodic status calls with City <br />staff regarding the progress of the project, coordinate efforts, and other issues, and <br />perform quality control checks to peer review analyses and work products. Consultant <br />shall also track progress by task to ensure the project is within budget. <br />Deliverables: Consultant shall provide: <br />•Presentation to Utilities Sub-Committee <br />•Public hearing notice <br />•Capacity Fee Report <br />•Attendance at one City Council for public hearing <br />•Recommended Municipal Code changes <br />•Monthly invoices <br />•Schedule updates <br />•Quality control review <br />Task 8 – Phase 2 Ad-Hoc Consulting Services <br />Following the completion of the initial water rates study, the Consultant shall update the <br />model by City request. Updates will include revision of expense, revenue, and/or reserve <br />projections for the City’s planning and budgeting purposes. Consultant will share results <br />with the City per City instruction. This task will cover any subsequent model updates for <br />the period that rates are set via the Proposition 218 notice. Updates to the model <br />occurring after the period for which rates are set during this rate study are outside the <br />scope of this Agreement. <br />If work is requested by City staff that is not included in this Agreement, prior to the start <br />of any work under this task, Consultant shall develop a draft scope of work and total <br />estimated hours. Consultant shall obtain approval from City staff of the additional scope <br />of work and cost before proceeding. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
