REV: 10-09-24 MI staff and the Utilities Sub-Committee. Following any final comments, Consultant shall produce a Final Report in a PDF file format. The Final Report shall be finalized by the Consultant prior to the mailing of the public hearing notice. The Capacity Fee Report prepared under this task will be separate from the documents prepared under Task 6h for the Water and Recycled Water Rate Study. Implementation Consultant shall revise (if necessary) the presentation made to the Utilities Sub- Committee to present final findings and recommendations to the City Council. Consultant shall attend the public hearing via video conference after the 45-day protest period to answer questions. Municipal Code Review Consultant shall review and recommend changes to the appropriate chapter of the City’s Municipal Code to reflect proposed capacity fee adjustments, as applicable. Project Management Consultant shall monitor schedules and budgets, conduct periodic status calls with City staff regarding the progress of the project, coordinate efforts, and other issues, and perform quality control checks to peer review analyses and work products. Consultant shall also track progress by task to ensure the project is within budget. Deliverables: Consultant shall provide: •Presentation to Utilities Sub-Committee •Public hearing notice •Capacity Fee Report •Attendance at one City Council for public hearing •Recommended Municipal Code changes •Monthly invoices •Schedule updates •Quality control review Task 8 – Phase 2 Ad-Hoc Consulting Services Following the completion of the initial water rates study, the Consultant shall update the model by City request. Updates will include revision of expense, revenue, and/or reserve projections for the City’s planning and budgeting purposes. Consultant will share results with the City per City instruction. This task will cover any subsequent model updates for the period that rates are set via the Proposition 218 notice. Updates to the model occurring after the period for which rates are set during this rate study are outside the scope of this Agreement. If work is requested by City staff that is not included in this Agreement, prior to the start of any work under this task, Consultant shall develop a draft scope of work and total estimated hours. Consultant shall obtain approval from City staff of the additional scope of work and cost before proceeding. ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
