Other <br />recommended salary and benefit changes throughout the three-year term of the agreement represent a <br />maximum estimated fiscal impact over three years of approximately $2,654,000 of which $1,406,000 <br />would be one-time costs. When staff was developing the FY 2024-25 budget, an estimated annual amount <br />of $240,131 was used for the RCPOA salary, other compensation, and benefit increase. At this time, staff <br />is requesting a budget amendment for FY 2024-25 increasing General Fund expenditures by $705,000. For <br />subsequent fiscal years, projected costs of recommended salary, other compensation and benefits will be <br />built into the development of future recommended budgets. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This activity is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or reasonably <br />foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />This agenda item provides disclosure that is required by State law; there is no alternative to providing this <br />report.
