Page 1 of 3 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: December 9, 2024 <br />SUBJECT <br />Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Services with FolgerGraphics, Inc. for Recreation Activity Guide <br />Printing Services <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for <br />Services with FolgerGraphics, Inc. for Recreation Activity Guide printing services increasing the not-to- <br />exceed amount by $85,000 and extending the term from October 6, 2024 to October 5, 2025 and further <br />authorizing the City Manager to extend the Agreement for an additional one-year term, through October <br />2026 for an additional not-to-exceed amount of $85,000, resulting in a total contract amount not to <br />exceed $255,000. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Communication and Community Building <br />BACKGROUND <br />In order to advertise the wide variety of fee-based classes, sports leagues, senior and human service <br />programs, and special events offered by the City, the Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Department (PRCS) produces three activity guides per year that are mailed to every Redwood City resident <br />as well as to participant households outside of the City limits. The previous agreement for printing services <br />expired and staff issued a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for printing services. On June 30, 2023, <br />FolgerGraphics, Inc. was accepted for a one-year contract expiring on October 5, 2024. The original <br />agreement was under the financial threshold for City Council approval, but the total amount of the <br />amended contract requires City Council approval. <br />5.B. - Page 1 of 25 <br />39
