REV: 11-01-24 LF Advise the City’s staff regarding reliable and defensible types of source documentation. Provide insight as to how other cities are interpreting and claiming each mandate to ensure that nothing is overlooked and every dollar is recovered. Collect relevant financial expenditure data to prepare an Indirect Cost Rate Proposal (ICRP) for all departments included in the City’s claims. Productive Hourly Rates will be calculated using the State Controller’s Office permitted hours per year of 1800 unless the City has a proven number of hours that is less than 1800. Complete draft of all applicable claims and send to City contact for review and resolution of all related questions/issues. In person delivery of all approved/signed claims to the State Controller’s Office prior to the State deadline. Forward to the City a copy of the Claims Receipt signed by the State Controller’s Office. If necessary, act as liaison with the State Controller’s Office in desk reviews or actual field audits. Consultant will provide the following additional services for any new claims: Immediate notification to both SB90 Coordinator and affected departmental personnel once Parameters and Guidelines have been approved by the Commission on State Mandates. Subsequent notification to these individuals once the State Controller’s Office has issued claiming instructions. Communication with City staff regarding the timeline and due date of new claims. Consultant will complete each element of the above scope as it relates to the Annual Claims no later than February 15, 2025. FEE SCHEDULE City will pay the Consultant for all services described above for a fixed fee not to exceed Six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($6,200).
