REV: 10-09-24 MI <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope of Services: <br />Consultant shall provide architectural design services as requested by the Public Works Facilities <br />Superintendent or their designee during the term of this agreement in a prompt, professional, and <br />workmanlike manner in accordance with the standards of the architectural design professions. All <br />work shall be performed on a time and materials basis. Consultant shall perform work as <br />requested by the Public Works Facilities Superintendent or designee in writing. Consultant will <br />not perform services until they have provided the Public Works Facilities Superintendent or their <br />designee with a cost estimate that is approved by the Public Works Facilities Superintendent or <br />designee. <br />Architectural design services may include, but are not limited to: <br />1.Contracting for or employing at the Consultant's expense, sub-consultants to the <br />extent necessary for the work. <br />2.Prepare and distribute meeting minutes during design. <br />3.Obtain approval of all required permits, City, County, State, Federal and all other <br />agencies with jurisdiction over the project. <br />4.Design services for all individual projects as assigned, including construction and post <br />construction design services. <br />5.Provide quality control. <br />6.Perform cost estimates for assigned tasks to ensure tight cost control of each. <br />7.Perform a constructability analysis. <br />8.Assist during the bid process. <br />9.Construction Services - Review RFIs (requests for information), change orders, <br />submittals, shop drawings, and any other documents associated with the construction <br />phase. <br />10.Maintain good record keeping. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
