CONSENT CALENDAR - Continued <br /> 6.D. Award of contract for 2024 Pavement Overlay Project – <br /> Redwood Avenue to maintain roadway surface and add roadway <br /> signage, bikeway striping, and speed cushions to increase safety for <br />people walking and riding bicycles to Granite Rock Company, with <br />funding of up to $1,224,174 provided from Measure A and W grants <br />and Senate Bill 1 <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute contract <br />documents and award the standard form construction contract for the <br />2024 Pavement Overlay Project - Redwood Avenue to Granite Rock <br />Company of San Jose, for their responsive and responsible low bid of <br />$1,112,885 to be funded from Measures A and W grants and from Senate <br />Bill 1, waive certain minor irregularities as set forth in the staff report, and <br />authorize the City Manager or their designee to increase the contract <br />amount, if necessary, up to 10 percent of the amount awarded, for a total <br />amount not to exceed $1,224,174.
