Adopt a resolution authorizing City Manager to sign and execute a Primary <br />Grant Agreement (PGA) with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority for <br />future Measure A and W funding over the next 10 years; and <br />2. By motion, authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute project-specific <br />supplemental agreements for allocation of Measures A and W grants over the <br />next 10 years. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.D.Award of contract for 2024 Pavement Overlay Project - Redwood Avenue to <br />maintain roadway surface and add roadway signage, bikeway striping, and <br />speed cushions to increase safety for people walking and riding bicycles to <br />Granite Rock Company, with funding of up to $1,224,174 provided from <br />Measure A and W grants and Senate Bill 1 <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute contract <br />documents and award the standard form construction contract for the 2024 <br />Pavement Overlay Project - Redwood Avenue to Granite Rock Company of San <br />Jose, for their responsive and responsible low bid of $1,112,885 to be funded <br />from Measures A and W grants and from Senate Bill 1, waive certain minor <br />irregularities as set forth in the staff report, and authorize the City Manager or <br />their designee to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10 percent of <br />the amount awarded, for a total amount not to exceed $1,224,174. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1. Existing Facilities <br />6.E.Agreement for Services with Davey Resource Group, Inc. <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, determine that due to the nature of support services, a competitive <br />bidding process is not likely to serve the best interest of the City, and approve <br />and authorize the City Manager to execute an Agreement for Services with Davey <br />Resource Group, Inc. to provide tree inventory services in an amount not to <br />exceed $281,050 (requires 5/7 vote). <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />3
