This proposed project is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section
15301, Class 1 (c) Existing Facilities, as it involves minor alterations to Redwood Avenue between El
Camino Real to Valota Road through installation of a pavement overlay, speed cushions, utility cover
adjustments, traffic signage, and restriping that would not create additional automobile lanes.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72
hours prior to the meeting.
ALTERNATIVES
The City Council may choose not to award the contract and direct staff to rebid this project.
6.D. - Page 5 of 6
67
