For continued reliability and efficiency of these systems, it is essential to conduct regular
maintenance and inspections to prevent costly repairs or significant downtime.
The City currently operates 36 water and recycled water pumps located in 11 pump stations. To mitigate
the risk of costly repairs from wear and tear, these pumps and motors require routine inspections,
preventative measures, and timely repairs. As such, a qualified and experienced contractor is required to
perform the necessary preventative maintenance and on-call repair services to optimize performance,
extend the lifespan of equipment, and minimize disruptions to service.
6.F. - Page 1 of 19
88
