The NIB was emailed to thirteen potential <br />contractors, posted to the City’s website, and published in the San Mateo Daily Journal. Staff received <br />bids from four contractors with Pump Repair Service Co. submitting the lowest bid. Staff also recommends authorizing the City Manager <br />to extend the agreement for up to two additional two-year terms for an aggregate total not-to-exceed <br />amount of $1,248,788. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The amount of $235,215 is available to allocate from the Water Utility Fund operating budgets. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />This project is categorically exempt under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, section <br />15301, “Existing Facilities”, which allows for maintenance and repair of existing facilities involving <br />negligible or no expansion of use of the existing facilities. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Public notification was achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least 72 <br />hours prior to the meeting. <br />6.F. - Page 2 of 19 <br />89
