REV: 12-06-24 MI <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />I. Scope of Work <br />Contractor will maintain and repair the City’s water and recycled water pumps, motors, <br />and related apparatuses. Contractor will furnish all parts, materials, labor, equipment, <br />tools, fuel, transportation, and services necessary to complete the work. Contractor is <br />also responsible for disposal of any unusable material and debris as a result of the work. <br />A. Task 1 - Pump Preventative Maintenance Program <br />Contractor will perform annual comprehensive preventative maintenance (PM) <br />inspections for all water pumps and motors. All annual preventative <br />maintenance will be performed without the removal of pumps or motors from <br />the site. Preventative maintenance shall include, at minimum: <br />Check electrical condition of insulation on power cable and on all phases of <br />motor <br />Check for any loose or faulty electrical connections within the pump control <br />panel <br />Check and record resistance between stator windings <br />Check and record voltage supply between all phases of the electrical control <br />panel <br />Check and record voltage balance between all phases on the load side of <br />the pump control with pump on <br />Check and record amperage draws on all phases of the pump motor <br />Check condition and operation of motor thermal protectors control system <br />(if so equipped) <br />Check condition of upper shaft seals (inspect condition of motor housing) <br />Check condition and operation of leakage detector (if so equipped) <br />Check lower shaft seals (inspect condition of oil) <br />Change oil if needed (cost of oil included) <br />Check for worn or loose impeller <br />Check all impeller wear rings <br />Check for noise in upper and lower bearings <br />Check physically for damage of pump and power cable <br />Clean, reset, and check operation of level sensors <br />Check for correct shaft rotation <br />Test pump operation cycle <br />Check operating of valves and pipes in station <br />Check and perform alignment, balance, and level of pumps and motors (as <br />applicable) <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.229/Pump Repair Service Co.
