REV: 12-06-24 MI <br />A. Replacement parts must be the same make and model as the original <br />component, unless otherwise authorized in writing by City staff. <br />B. Contractor will submit to the City written documentation describing all findings, <br />results, recommendations, and work performed for each pump station upon <br />completion of preventative maintenance within thirty (30) days after completing <br />the preventative maintenance for each pump station’s pumps and motors. <br />C. Contractor will complete preventative maintenance for all water pumps and <br />motors annually. <br />D. All preventative maintenance inspections shall be performed during the work <br />week (Monday – Friday), between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Contractor will <br />contact the City to arrange for pump station site access to perform preventative <br />maintenance. If the Contractor is called away during the scheduled <br />maintenance and cannot complete the scheduled PM, they will return the next <br />working day. <br />E. During the course of preventative maintenance, Contractor will immediately <br />notify the City of any emergency or immediate repairs needed to any of the <br />pumps. <br />B. Task 2 - Major Repairs <br />A. Contractor will provide any major pump repairs, overhauls, or direct <br />replacement of pumps which are not included under preventative maintenance. <br />Contractor must obtain written approval from the City before starting major <br />repairs. <br />B. Prior to removing any equipment or performing any such major repairs or <br />replacements, Contractor will submit to the City: <br />a. a description of the work determined to be necessary, <br />b. a cost estimate for such work, and <br />c. an expected completion timeline. <br />C. Contractor shall be responsible for removing, transporting, repairing/replacing <br />and installing pumps, motors, and related equipment. The Contractor will <br />contact the City to coordinate access to pump stations. <br />C. Task 3 - On-Call and Emergency Repairs <br />A. City may request on-call repair or emergency repair services from Contractor. <br />The Contractor shall maintain a telephone number for the entire term of the <br />agreement where a designated representative can be reached 24 hours a day, <br />365 days a year. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.229/Pump Repair Service Co.
