REV: 12-06-24 MI <br />B. Emergency repair and maintenance may be required at all hours. Contractor <br />will respond to emergency repair requests within 4 hours of notice from the City. <br />If City requests emergency service, the Contractor must perform a site visit <br />within 24 hours of receiving notice from the City and utilize best available <br />options to provide a timely resolution to the issue. For non-emergency repair <br />requests, Contractor will respond within 48 hours. <br />II. Additional obligations <br />A. Parts and Materials <br />Contractor will maintain an inventory of common parts and materials needed to <br />maintain the City’s water pumps and motors. Contractor must have materials <br />needed for preventative maintenance available at all times. <br />B. Staffing <br />Skilled and competent workers shall perform all work in a timely, neat, and orderly <br />manner. City may refuse to accept work or workers who do not meet these <br />standards. Contractor shall be responsible for any damage caused by their <br />operations and shall repair or replace, as directed by the City, said damage within <br />a reasonable time. <br />The Contractor shall also maintain and provide direct phone numbers, cellular <br />phone numbers, and email addresses of key staff with whom the City can maintain <br />regular and direct contact 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regarding scheduling, <br />billing, status reports, and other items. <br />C. Contractor’s Shop <br />The Contractor shall have or establish adequate shop and storage facilities. <br />Contractor’s facility shall house the necessary equipment and materials for repair <br />and maintenance of the City’s water pumps. <br />D. Contractor’s Equipment <br />The Contractor is responsible for having all equipment necessary to perform the <br />work described in this Agreement. Contractor’s staff must be experienced and <br />capable of operating such equipment, and Contractor must maintain Contractor’s <br />equipment in good working order. <br />E. City’s Right to Inspect and Require Work <br />The City reserves the right to make such inspections whenever necessary to <br />ascertain that the requirements of this agreement are being fulfilled. Deficiencies <br />noted shall be promptly corrected at Contractor's expense. <br />F. Guarantee and Warranty of Work <br />The Contractor shall guarantee all work performed under the agreement against <br />defects resulting from the use of substandard materials, equipment or <br />workmanship one year from the date of service. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.229/Pump Repair Service Co.
