Approve Live Performance Agreement with Zoppé Circus and related resolution <br />establishing a temporary time limit on parking spaces in the Library parking lots <br />(304) Reso 16240 <br />Recommendation:1. By motion, determine that due to the nature of the services, a <br />competitive bidding process is not likely to serve the best interests of the City and the <br />contract may be awarded without a competitive bidding process, and approve and <br />authorize the City Manager to execute the Live Performance Agreement between the <br />City of Redwood City and Zoppé Circus in an amount not to exceed $280,000 (requires <br />5/7 vote); and <br />2. Adopt a resolution of the City Council of the City of Redwood City establishing a <br />temporary one-hour time limit on the use of parking spaces in Library Lots A, B, and C. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />6.Q. Award Fair Oaks Community Center Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) Kitchen Remodel <br />Project to Onpoint Construction in the amount of $303,125; and authorize the City <br />Manager or their designee to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of <br />the amount awarded in an amount not to exceed $30,312 for a total amount of <br />$333,437 (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents <br />and award the standard form contract for the Fair Oaks Community Center MPR Kitchen <br />Remodel Project to Onpoint Construction of Burlingame, CA for their responsive and <br />responsible low total bid of $303,125; and authorize the City Manager or their designee <br />to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% of the amount awarded in an <br />amount not to exceed $30,312 for a total amount of $333,437. <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1.
