CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Motion and Second, Howard and Martinez Saballos, to approve all items on the Consent <br />Calendar, passed unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br /> 6.A. Tentative Agreement between the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo County <br />Firefighters International Association of Firefighters Local 2400 (IAFF), and <br />amendments to the City of Redwood City's Classification and Wage and Salary Plan to <br />update the salary range for classifications represented by IAFF, and for the Fire Fighter <br />Trainee classification (304) Reso 16243 <br /> Reso 16244 <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve Tentative Agreement relative to wages, hours, and other terms <br />and conditions of employment for employees in the San Mateo County Firefighters <br />International Association of Firefighters Local 2400 (IAFF) bargaining unit, for the period <br />July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution amending the City's Classification and Salary and Wage Plan for <br />classifications represented by IAFF and the Fire Fighter Trainee classification. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving an appropriation amendment to the FY 2024-2025 <br />General Fund budget to increase expenditures in the amount of $531,850 for increased <br />salary and benefit costs related to the IAFF Agreement that begins in Fiscal Year 2024-25 <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 6.B. $2 million grant application for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC)’s <br />Regional Measure 3 (RM3) Safe Routes to Transit and Bay Trail (SR2TBT) Program for <br />preliminary engineering and environmental study of segments of the Bay Trail Gap <br />Closure Project (702) Reso 16245 <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution authorizing the submittal of an application to the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission for Regional Measure 3 Safe Routes to Transit and Bay Trail <br />Program Funding for the Bay Trail Gap Closure Project. <br /> <br />
