Study Session on tobacco regulations including the permitting and monitoring of <br />tobacco retailers in the City of Redwood City and smoking in the public right of way <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Patrick Heisinger introduced the item, and Economic <br />Development Manager Amanda Anthony gave the staff presentation. <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Receive the staff presentation and provide input on community engagement and analysis <br />desired to inform City regulation and enforcement of tobacco retailers and whether the <br />City Council has interest in regulating smoking in the public right of way. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />A Study Session was held.
