__________________________________________________________________________________________ JOINT CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD/ October 28, 2024 PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES PAGE 8 MINUTE BOOK NO. 69 Motion and second, Sturken and Martinez Saballos, to: • Adopt a resolution adopting amendments to the General Plan Mixed Use - Downtown Designation for property located at 1900 Broadway; • Adopt a resolution adopting an amendment to the Downtown Precise Plan for property located at 1900 Broadway; • Adopt a resolution approving the 1900 Broadway Project including an Affordable Housing Plan, Affordable Housing Partner, Land Donation, and Affordable Housing Land Donation Agreement; a Vesting Tentative Parcel Map, a Downtown Planned Community Permit, and a Use Permit, subject to Conditions of Approval); and • Waive the first reading and introduce an ordinance approving a Development Agreement between the City of Redwood City and Lane Partners (1900 Broadway). The motion passed 4-0-3 by electronic vote, with Mayor Gee and Council Member Eakin recused, and Council Member Howard absent. 9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST 9.A. City Council Member Report of Meetings/Conferences Attended A. City Council Report of Meetings/Conferences Attendance Vice Mayor Espinoza-Garnica reported on the October 19 45th Annual Palestine Cultural Day. Council Member Eakin, Council Member Sturken, and Mayor Gee reported on the October 16-18 CalCities Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA. Mayor Gee announced that at the conference, the City of Redwood City received the Beacon Award for Equity and Engagement in Sustainability and Climate, under the category of Innovation and Leadership Award, for outreach and engagement of the City’s Sea Level Rise Vulnerability and Adaptation Planning Study, led by the Public Works Services Department. 9.B. City Council Committee Reports A. Governance Sub-Committee - Council Member Martinez Saballos gave an update.
