Blood draws for all Fire Department <br />employees are scheduled for February, followed <br />by individual physical examinations in March. <br />Continue partnering with the Human <br />Resources Department to offer two <br />recruitments a year: recruitment for Entry- <br />level Firefighter/Engineer and Firefighter <br />Trainee (Apprentice) by August 2024 and <br />Lateral Firefighter/Engineer recruitment by <br />January 2025. <br />FIRE 100% <br /> <br />. The recruitment process has been standardized <br />by scheduling at least two recruitments annually. <br />This fiscal year, seven recruitments were <br />conducted for various roles, including Fire Chief, <br />Deputy Fire Chief, Fire Captain, Firefighter Trainee <br />(Apprentice), Lateral Firefighter Engineer, <br />Emergency Preparedness and Outreach <br />Coordinator, and a 0.4 FTE Plan Checker. <br />5.A. - Page 59 of 75 <br />61
