Therefore, staff generally factor in contingency funding to facilitate these <br />needs when projecting final costs. Staff recommends awarding the project to PWA as the lowest <br />responsive and responsible bidder, and approval and authorization for the City Manager to execute an <br />agreement with Pacific Water Art, Inc. for a total amount not to exceed $271,600 and authorization for <br />the City Manager or their designee to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 15% of the amount <br />awarded in an amount not to exceed $40,740 for a total amount of $312,340. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The amount of $248,058.82 is available in the Courthouse Square Improvements Account within the <br />Capital Outlay Fund.
