Page 1 of 3 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: February 10, 2025 <br />SUBJECT <br />Amendment No. 1 to Technology Services Agreement with Buildingeye, Inc. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to Technology Services <br />Agreement with Buildingeye, Inc., increasing the not-to-exceed amount by $50,000 and amending the <br />scope of services, for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $148,350 from April 24, 2024 through April <br />23, 2028. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />Original Scope of Project <br />On April 24, 2024, the City entered into a four-year Technology Services Agreement with Buildingeye, Inc., <br />as approved by the City Council on April 1, 2024, to provide residents and businesses access to building <br />permits and planning application information through Buildingeye’s AgencyCounter online platform. <br />This web-based tool enables residents and businesses to monitor and search building and planning <br />permits and applications. The tool uses real time data from the City’s permitting and Geographic <br />Information Systems (GIS) to provide a fully searchable and user-friendly resource for building and <br />planning permits and applications information. Additionally, the tool allows the public to create alerts that <br />will send email notifications when there is a building permit or planning application activity in a specific <br />neighborhood or area. <br />6.H. - Page 1 of 35 <br />112
