REV: 02-04-25 LF <br />Down Time: <br />If an elevator is inoperative for more than fifteen (15) minutes, Contractor shall post <br />a sign at each entrance indicating that the elevator is out of service. <br />City' s Right to Inspect and Require Work: <br />The City reserves the right to make such inspections and tests whenever <br />necessary to ascertain that the requirements of this Agreement are being fulfilled. <br />Deficiencies noted shall be promptly corrected at Contractor's expense. <br />Warranty of Work: <br />Contractor will repair or replace during normal working hours and without additional <br />cost to City any covered component that has been repaired or replaced during the <br />term of the Agreement and that proves defective for a period of twelve (12) months <br />following the completion of such repair or replacement. City agrees to give <br />Contractor prompt written notice when becoming aware of such defect. Such <br />warranty by Contractor shall run concurrently to any manufacturer's warranties or <br />guarantees. <br />Contractor shall not be required to correct without charge; breakage, <br />maladjustments, or other trouble arising from abuse, misuse, improper or <br />inadequate maintenance by others, or any other cause beyond Contractor's <br />reasonable control. In the event that the Agreement expires or if the Agreement is <br />terminated by Owner for any reason other than for cause, all of Contractor's <br />remaining warranty obligations hereunder shall continue for 90 days following the <br />effective date of such termination. <br />Fee Schedule: <br />City shall pay Contractor for services per the fee schedule outlined below and, in an <br />amount, not-to-exceed One Hundred Forty-Four Thousand Two Hundred dollars <br />($144,200) for elevator inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
