Page 1 of 4 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: February 24, 2025 <br />SUBJECT <br />Annexation of 731 Esther Lane, Assessor’s Parcel Number 058-244-080, to the Oak Knoll Sewer <br />Maintenance District <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt a resolution conditionally consenting to annexation of property at 731 Esther Lane, Assessor’s <br />Parcel Number 058-244-080, to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District and approving and authorizing <br />the City Manager to execute an Annexation Agreement with the property owners. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Public Safety <br />BACKGROUND <br />Pursuant to the “Agreement Between Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District (District) and the City of <br />Redwood City for Sewage Treatment and Disposal” dated March 18, 1958, the County of San Mateo <br />Department of Public Works submitted a request by the property owners of 731 Esther Lane, APN 058- <br />244-080, that the property be annexed to the District for sanitary sewer services. The location of the <br />property is shown in Figure 1. The District has authorized and approved the construction of a new sewer <br />connection. <br />6.C. - Page 1 of 13 <br />68
