REV: 01-09-25 MI <br />I. Protection of Adjacent Property <br />Structures adjacent to property shall be protected. The City shall not be responsible <br />for any damages caused by Contractor. <br />J. Storm Water Pollution Prevention <br />Contractor shall at all times comply with storm water pollution prevention practices <br />for potable water discharges and implement best management practices (BMPs) for <br />dechlorination, erosion and sediment control, and monitoring per the California <br />Statewide General Permit for Drinking Water System Discharges to waters of the <br />United States. The contractor shall report to the City the total volume of water <br />discharged in gallons for each separate event. An event shall be considered to be <br />the total volume discharges from an individual water tank or reservoir per calendar <br />day. The Contractor shall be responsible for monitoring chlorine residual, turbidity, <br />and pH downstream of the implemented BMPs to measure their effectiveness and <br />submit the results to the City in its Event Monitoring Log (incorporated herein as <br />Exhibit “B”). For reference a copy of the City’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) <br />Guide for Potable Water Discharges may be provided to the Contractor upon <br />request. <br />K. Stockpiling of Equipment and Material <br />The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for securing adequate and <br />proper places for storing materials and equipment. The Contractor shall obtain <br />permission for use of Department property before storing materials. The Department <br />has limited space available in the corporation yard. <br />L. Cleanup <br />Upon completion of each portion of the work, the site shall be cleaned of all debris <br />and equipment and shall be left in a neat condition to the satisfaction of the <br />Department and its designated representatives. <br />II. PAYMENT TERMS <br />A. The total not-to-exceed contract amount is Eighty Thousand Dollars <br />($80,000) as allocated below. The Contractor may invoice the City with net <br />30 payment terms once the Scope of Services, which includes cleaning, <br />inspection, and repair services, has been completed for the five water tanks <br />as outlined below. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.003/H2O Solutions, L.L.C.
