Learn why this is important at <br />https://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification ] <br />Dear Members of the City Council, <br />We are Shiva Kamali, Jyoti Sood and Pooja Singh, and we live at Island Place, right next to the Redwood LIFE <br />campus. We have young families and support Redwood LIFE Evolve because of its positive impacts on Redwood <br />Shores. These include the new parks and open space, new restaurants in the amenity center, badly needed funding <br />for sea-level rise protection, and new revenue for the City to support services. Simply put, we support progress and <br />that is what Redwood LIFE represents. <br />We wanted to attend the first community meeting, but as we had seen in previous meetings and outreach the <br />opposition groups were so vocal and aggressive that we felt uncomfortable participating in this process. While we <br />love the project and are excited about the opportunity it will bring for the entire community and all families we just <br />felt it was better to send a letter than speak in person. <br />Please join us, 68% of Stop Redwood LIFE, and the others in our community who support moving into CEQA with <br />Alternative 2. <br />Moms of Island Place, <br />Shiva Kamali <br />Jyoti Sood <br />Pooja Singh
