Learn why this is important <br />Dear Members of the City Council, <br />We are Shiva Kamali, Jyoti Sood and Pooja Singh, and we live at Island Place, right next to <br />the Redwood LIFE campus. We have young families and support Redwood LIFE Evolve <br />because of its positive impacts on Redwood Shores. These include the new parks and open <br />space, new restaurants in the amenity center, badly needed funding for sea-level rise <br />protection, and new revenue for the City to support services. Simply put, we support progress <br />and that is what Redwood LIFE represents. <br />We wanted to attend the first community meeting, but as we had seen in previous meetings <br />and outreach the opposition groups were so vocal and aggressive that we felt uncomfortable <br />participating in this process. While we love the project and are excited about the opportunity it <br />will bring for the entire community and all families we just felt it was better to send a letter <br />than speak in person. <br />Please join us, 68% of Stop Redwood LIFE, and the others in our community who support <br />moving into CEQA with Alternative 2. <br />Moms of Island Place, <br />Jyoti Sood <br />Pooja Singh <br />Shiva Kamali
